25/07/2005 - Returning from London.

I arrived yesterday from London. I spent my first day back in Brazil sleeping. I was feeling an excellent sensation of victory, and it made me have the best day of sleep since I started the Execution idea. But I was also feeling that I had to use my rest day very well, because with the concert I had in mind and without having the lesser idea of how I would make it, I would have soke sleepless months coming. As soon as I woke up, I was contacted by hellion records, they told me some news about my album and said, "everything is going very well,”. I read some reviews of the album that was left in Brazil while I was in Europe. In this same day I had begun to enter in contact with people who could help me in the show I had to make. We need a team, investors, Venues, hotels, visas…so many things that every single day I thought about giving up. But like I said before, I'm not used to stepping back on my ideas.

03/08/2005 - The Preparation Has Begun.

The preparations were being made in all forms. I looked for support for the show while Flavio Pascarillo, my band’s drummer, looked for shows at the Northeast of Brazil. We needed to perform before the great show and the Northeast always was wonderful, as much with my former-band as with the other band that Flavio has, Nordheim. We got three concerts, Recife, Sergipe and Campina Grande. The presentations were made of the following form, the Nordheim band who has practically all the integral musicians of my band, played first, later my band went up to the stage. Like that we could sell to promoters two bands for practically the value of one that was very good for all of us. We spent the whole of August rehearsing, we needed to perform perfectly in the concerts, but also we needed to polish the endurance of the musicians, because all of them would be playing two concerts consecutively per day, and that's not easy.

At the same time I concentrated on the great show in November. I had a lot of meetings, I’ve listened to many proposals, but one person for me seemed more dedicated than the rest. I decided to believe in him and to trust the show to his team, his name was Paulo Baron and his company is called Top Link. In the first days of meetings with Paulo, I heard his story and I could understand the reason of his success. He was making the first edition of Live and Louder Festival at the time but even busy like that, he always found time to help me when was necessary, any time was a good time for him, and I like this kind of attitude, very professional, The kind of person I like.

12/09/2005 - Shows in the Northeast.

We are in the Northeast; three concerts scheduled on three following days, perfect, exactly how the concerts in November would be. The first city we arrived in was Recife. We stayed four days there and were wonderful; the promoter there was called Carioca, and could not be better for a band from Rio (people who lives in Rio De Janeiro are called cariocas). Great show, great audience, big screen, more than 1200 people singing the album; was a very nice surprise for me. I think I did not make a good performance there- first concert and too much emotion, my voice worked perfectly, but the problem was the heart, every time that the audience bawled some chorus I was so moved, it was difficult to run and to have the type of performance I like to have live. Soon later we were in Sergipe, I was feeling more prepared, but when I entered onstage, the emotion came up again. The venue was once more crowded; once more the affection of the audience was great. After playing the first song of the show, "Aggressive", the audience spent some minutes screaming "Tribuzy", my heart jumped to my mouth once again. It was the first time I listened to more than 1000 voices bawling my name, it was frightful, but rewarding at the same time, this kind of situation makes everything worthwhile. Clay and all his team had been fantastic, we were very happy with all the structure that he gave to us in Sergipe. I already had been more than grateful with the great work of Carioca in Recife, then later comes Clay and makes the same, and we looked silly with gratitude again. From there, we went to Campina Grande, we were in a very nice and pleasant hotel. We didn’t have so many audience as we had in the other cities, but it doesn’t mean that they made less noise. Another city screaming for Tribuzy and one more time I was very moved. It was to close to our goal for the Northeast concerts- to bring us back with total force for November. The only bad thing in Campina Grande was the security.

20/09/2005 - Live and Louder.

We returned to Rio de Janeiro, a thousand e-mails crowded my e-mail box. Mat Sinner, Chris Dale, Roland Grapow, Roy Z and others, everybody wanting to know more details on the shows in November. Soon as I answered to all, I thought one more time, "is very difficultto make everything alone". Then I had a great idea. I gave a call to Paulo and asked if they would use a giant screen in the Live and Louder festival, he said yes, then I commented that I would back to Europe in the next month and asked "In case I brought a video with Bruce at my side announcing the Execution concert, would you let me put it onLive and Louder’s giant screen?" he answered, "For Sure". Well, I already had the giant screen free, and already had the idea, but now, how would I make it happen? I didn’t know if Bruce would accept the idea, or if he would think that I was abusing his generosity, then when I arrived in London I gave a call for him. A new meeting was scheduled.
